NFL Week 3 – 5 Value Plays
We kicked off Week 3 with the Giant’s Thursday night cover against the hapless Redskins.
To continue your recovery from Week 2, consider these opportunities to cash in:
- St Louis’ Week 1 victory over the Seahawks was a function of Seahawk decline – not the Ram’s sudden emergence with one of the worst O-lines in the game. They played closer to their true level by folding in Week 2 vs the Skins. Pittsburgh stayed with New England in Week 1 and pummeled the not-horrible Niners last week. This is a pick ‘em?
- The Eagles are not as bad as their 0-2 record and the Jets aren’t as good as their 2-0. But both teams will have a hard time scoring much – especially if Darryl Reavis plays. The 46 total looks high.
- The Bengals beat the Raiders by 20 in Oakland. The Ravens lost there in Week 2. Cincinnati has too many weapons for the Baltimore D this week. Bengals are on a mission AND get 2.5 points because the Ravens are coming home. They won’t need them.
- Is Oakland for real? Yes – take the points
- Bills cruise in Miami.
